Your Responsibilities:

- Regularly draft and post engaging content on Amnesty Feminist’s social media feeds (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and edit basic videos for TikToks and Reels.
- Create content that includes, but is not limited to:
- International days relating to women’s and human rights
- Current events and feminist news from the UK and worldwide
- Actions from Amnesty International’s website (e.g., ongoing petitions to highlight on our socials)
- “Behind the scenes” content
- Campaign content

- Collaborate with the wider team at in person meetings to create a social media concept for the following two months.
- Manage day-to-day operations of all social media accounts:

PURPOSE
The GESI Senior Associate will be responsible for the following tasks:

ENGAGEMENT
- The GESI Senior Associate will work closely with the Adaptation and Green Cities Lead and report to the Country Representative in the GGGI Rwanda Country Program with frequent engaging with the GGGI Climate Action and Inclusive Development unit (CAID) in headquarters
- Work closely with key sectoral ministries and institutions, development partners, and local stakeholders to ensure alignment with Rwanda’s NDCs and national GESI priorities.
- Promote and maintain engagement with relevant stakeholders at the national and subnational levels to promote GGGI’s visibility and leadership in GESI and green growth-related matters.
DELIVERY
- Deliver high quality project outputs on time and within budget that meet project objectives, donor requirements and government requirements.
- Quickly absorb and apply sufficient technical knowledge on GESI mainstreaming concepts, requirements, frameworks and approaches.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has reinforced its presence in Ukraine by signing an agreement with the Government to set up a Project Office that will facilitate and expand the provision of technical and humanitarian assistance to the country’s most vulnerable communities, especially in rural areas.
Tasks and responsibilities

• Carry out a gender stocktaking exercise within the first six months of taking up the assignment, providing it was not done within the last four years. Carry out and update every four years. Minimum Requirements

Objectives of the Consultancy
Under the direct supervision of the Project Team Leader at AU-IBAR, the incumbent will undertake the following targeted areas of work so as to achieve the objectives of the Project ‘Conserving Aquatic Biodiversity in African Blue Economy’:
1. Contribute to identification of gender issues relevant to conservation highlighting the socio-political, economic and cultural aspects of conservation.
2. Participate in analysis of, from a gender perspective, existing national, regional and local policies, strategies and action plans and elaborate on the added value of gender mainstreaming into national and regional conservation policies.
3. Facilitate the development of an implementation plan for the continental strategy for mainstreaming gender in aquatic biodiversity conservation and environmental management.
4. Support AU member states to domesticate the continental strategy for gender mainstreaming in aquatic biodiversity and environmental management.
5. Contribute to identification and mainstreaming of gender related issues across project’s activities relevant to aquatic biodiversity and environmental management.
6. Facilitate formulation of a continental strategy on nature-based solutions for aquatic biodiversity conservation and ecosystems.
7. Enhance continental awareness and promote the implementation of nature-based solutions to minimize negative impacts of climate change on ecosystems and biodiversity.
8. Facilitate identification of and strengthening of regional value chains for aquatic biodiversity, including fisheries and aquaculture.
9. Enhance mechanisms to promote the Private sector and Women’s representation in climate change and (aquatic biodiversity conservation) decision-making institutions at national, regional and continental levels.
Applicant Requirements:
The incumbent should have a Minimum of a Master’s degree in the field of Gender Studies and/or Life sciences, Environmental sciences, Social science, Policy Development studies with focus on Gender considerations.
1. A minimum of 5 years of combined relevant work experience in development-oriented institutions, NGOs, UN, AU member states or related international development aid projects in Africa.
2. A Minimum of 3 years of experience in at least one of the sectors (e.g., gender and climate change mitigation programmes; conservation of aquatic ecosystems, integrating gender considerations and women’s empowerment in environmental programming);
3. Proven experience of working with and mobilizing communities in riparian and coastal settlements.
4. Experience working with and/or familiarization of regional economic communities and specialized regional institutions and their roles in enhancing gender integration in regional development agendas, including environmental considerations.

Roles and responsibilities:
Programme Implementation and Management
• Manage the day-to-day implementation of the 'Strengthening Global WPS Practice’ project in line with the programme’s objectives and donor requirements, under the strategic direction of the GAPS Director.
• Support GAPS partnerships and work with the GAPS Director to strengthen partnerships with WPS Centres of Excellence and partner organisations, ensuring project activities align with regional and global WPS priorities.

IPPF is now seeking to appoint a committed and experienced leader as our new Director of Membership Support and Development at this exciting point in IPPF’s strategy to deliver meaningful change to the populations IPPF serves, particularly adolescents, youth, women and girls in all their diversities from the most historically excluded. The Director will lead the integrated support, growth, and development of Member Associations (MAs) and Collaborative Partners (CPs) in the Americas and Caribbean region and will collaborate pro-actively with other Regions and Global functions to leverage Federation-wide impact.

Qu'est-ce que le fellowship Cultivate ?
Présentée par l’activité Genre et Jeunesse (GAYA), le fellowship Cultivate est une opportunité de renforcement des capacités pour les responsables de la mise en œuvre de programmes d'urgence et de sécurité alimentaire résiliente sur le terrain, intéressés par l'inclusion du genre et de la jeunesse.
Sur une période de six mois, une cohorte de 16 à 20 membres participera à des réunions préparatoires virtuelles et à un atelier en personne, suivis de réunions en ligne bihebdomadaires et de travaux indépendants pour développer des solutions innovantes afin d'augmenter l'inclusion du genre et de la jeunesse dans leurs programmes.
Le fellowship Cultivate soutient les participants (ou fellows) dans l'exploration de la manière dont l'enquête qualitative peut approfondir notre compréhension des dynamiques de résilience inclusive et appliquer ces connaissances à travers des conceptions de programmes innovantes et transformatrices. Grâce au fellowship, les participants utiliseront des méthodes qualitatives pour explorer des questions spécifiques aux programmes axées sur les dynamiques de résilience inclusive, afin de :
- Explorer comment l'analyse du contexte, la pensée systémique et les outils d'enquête qualitative peuvent approfondir leur compréhension de la dynamique de résilience inclusive.

Generic (e.g. 'gender focal point' roleWomankind Worldwide are seeking applications from teams or individuals to carry out a review and provide recommendations for our grantmaking and partnership approach. We are keen to hear from those with a deep knowledge of the feminist funding ecosystem, flexible grantmaking, feminist partnership and feminist movements, especially in Eastern and Southern Africa and South Asia.
Scope of WorkWe are seeking to review both our partnership and grantmaking to better align them with each other and with our organisational size, strategy and aspirations, including around anti-racism and decolonisation.
The selected individual/organisation will be responsible for a comprehensive review of and concrete recommendations on Womankind’s partnership and grantmaking approaches, including:- The context and external landscape for Womankind’s partnership and grantmaking, including identification of existing gaps in funding and support for feminist movements that an organisation such as ours could lean into- Identification of Womankind’s value add and niche, including how we can best harness our approach and position to increase our impact, effectiveness and efficiency in support of feminist organisations and movements- Review Womankind’s grantmaking against best practice among other flexible and feminist funders, including:- -the effectiveness and alignment of Womankind’s current funding streams
- -practices we should continue, adapt and/or adopt
-Womankind’s approach to partnership, including:- -with whom and how we partner, including the number and type of partnerships we currently have
- - the types of support we provide or could offer
- - how we start and responsibly end partnerships
- The potential for either broader or more narrow scope to our grantmaking and partnership
Our current income, targets and funding prospects, as outlined in our recent financing strategy review, should be considered throughout.
Deliverables- An inception plan for the work to be carried out at the start of the project. This should include an outline of the approach the review will take, how it will incorporate consultation with Womankind staff, partners, grantees and other key stakeholders within the space, a clear timeline, and a detailed list of information required from the Womankind staff team to inform analysis
- An updated review of the external context for feminist funders and movements and identification of specific niches/gaps that Womankind is well placed to fill
- Recommendations to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and impact of Womankind’s grantmaking
- Recommendations to improve the effectiveness and impact of Womankind’s partnership approach
- Recommendations to improve the alignment between Womankind’s strategies and workstreams and our grantmaking and partnership approaches
