Gender equality and Social inclusion (GESI)
KIT’s Gender Equality Team is comprised of 14 international gender specialists who focus on feminist leadership, equal rights and empowerment. We do feminist analysis, gender integration, capacity development and applied research, and provide policy and organisational advice. We work on both stand-alone gender equality initiatives as well as projects and programs that integrate gender in: agrifood-, land- and aquatic systems and the environment; global value chains; and global health. Together with partners and clients KIT Gender facilitates and documents critical reflection and gender knowledge development, supports the development of policies and strategies and the monitoring and evaluation of programmes that focus on gender equality and rights outcomes.

As a Gender Advisor, you will:

Provide advice to support development organizations and governments integrating and promoting gender equality in projects, policy and practice related to agrifood-, land- and aquatic- systems and the environment.

Develop and implement gender capacity building programs (including training, coaching, action learning and other forms of knowledge sharing).

Support and facilitate institutional change, including the design and supervision of gender audits and institutional assessments; the development of gender strategies and policies, and support for implementation.

Design and implement Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) related to institutional change, gender-transformative change and/or gender integration strategies.

Design, implement and disseminate applied qualitative and/or quantitative research.

Liaise with donors and partners to mobilize resources and acquire projects to realize the knowledge ambitions of the gender team.

Design and write project proposals for open calls.

Contribute to gender team learning and knowledge development.

Contribute to strategic positioning of KIT Institute’s gender work, nationally and internationally.

Collaborate with gender team colleagues in further expanding work in the area of gender, agriculture and the environment.

Contribute to knowledge management through online platforms, and publications.

You have:

Academic qualification (minimum of Masters degree) in social sciences, with a strong and focused specialization in gender and development.

Minimum 5 years of work experience in gender and international development in applied research positions, capacity strengthening programmes and/or advisory work.

Proven expertise on the gender dimensions of agrifood, land-, aquatic systems and the environment.

Demonstrated ability to work on gender integration with agricultural and/or environmental specialists.

Sharp analytical skills and the ability to connect gender knowledge generated in agricultural and environmental projects, more broadly.

Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating Gender Transformative Approaches and intersectionality.

Demonstrated experience with social science research methods, including diverse research methodologies (such as story-telling or using art).

Ability to work independently in performing tasks in a project team.

Excellent listening and problem-solving skills and the capacity to work within a diverse multicultural team and maintain good working relations with global partners.

Experience writing analytical research reports and producing knowledge products.

A PhD is an advantage.

Ability to travel regularly to LMICs is required.

Fluency in English is required.

The Asian- Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW) is a non-profit women’s NGO with a consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. ROLE OF THE POSITION

The role of the Programme Officer is to co-ordinate the effective planning, implementation and evaluation of ARROW’s programme and project activities including reports to ARROW’s funders and to ARROW and to provide substantial contributions to publication outputs. The role also includes developing and sustaining partnerships for the area of work responsible for. The consultant also has to coordinate and facilitate timely and accurate responses to advocacy opportunities at the regional and global levels. The consultant to contribute to the overall growth and effectiveness of ARROW’s programme in achieving its long-term objectives through assisting in programme meeting and other activities.

Requirement for the Position

4 -8 years of relevant experience, including experience in multi-country project management at the regional level.

Degree or equivalent standard of education in development, public health, gender and women’s studies, social science or any related field.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills (fluency in English is essential; knowledge of other UN languages and key Asia-Pacific languages a plus).

Strong research and analytical skills, and the ability to summarise and simplify complex information into an accessible form, such as position statements, outcome documents, campaign statements and advocacy briefs for social change.

Ability to develop and deliver trainings related to advocacy and/or research.

Passion for, commitment to, and strong understanding of sexual and reproductive health and rights issues, as well as women’s rights and gender studies, human rights and/or related fields; in particular, expertise on universal access to SRHR and on religious fundamentalisms’ impact on SRHR is highly desirable.

Knows how to use a rights and justice framework, and is familiar with commitments made within international human rights instruments such as but not limited to ICPD PoA, Beijing Platform of Action SDGs, CEDAW and UPR.

Has worked in and has knowledge of the socio-cultural-economic-political context of the Asia region, particularly in these countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Maldives, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.

TGEU seeks a dynamic and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our Communications team. This entry-level role is designed for an aspiring professional who is passionate about communications for trans rights, multimedia content, and community engagement. The Director will lead the integrated support, growth, and development of Member Associations (MAs) and Collaborative Partners (CPs) in the Americas and Caribbean region and will collaborate pro-actively with other Regions and Global functions to leverage Federation-wide impact.

The Partnerships Manager Role Will involve:
● Managing the sales pipeline, process and responsibility for hitting sales targets

Organizational Overview
The Women’s Environment and Development Organization (WEDO) is a women’s global advocacy organization based in New York. Key responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

Spanning 11 countries, this flagship initiative addresses critical issues such as women’s voice and leadership, violence and harassment, economic resilience, climate justice, and health and well-being.

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Program Director to lead the MbW Initiative. This role provides strategic direction, oversees impactful programming, and drives resource mobilization to expand MbW’s reach and influence. Reporting to the Regional Program Operations Director (RPOD) in Asia and working closely with CARE Impact Partners (CIP) in the USA, the Program Director ensures the success and sustainability of this transformative initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategic Leadership and Resource Mobilization

Develop and execute a robust resource mobilization strategy, securing multi-year funding through partnerships with corporations, foundations, and institutional donors.

Forge innovative funding models and compelling value propositions to attract new partners.

Represent CARE and MbW in global forums, meetings, and workshops to build relationships and promote the initiative.

2. Program Innovation and Quality

Spearhead impactful interventions across MbW’s core themes, fostering innovation and collaboration among country teams, local partners, and stakeholders.

Share evidence-based practices and tailored solutions to improve conditions for women apparel workers.

Coordinate learning events, workshops, and training to strengthen programming.

3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEAL)

Establish and oversee a comprehensive MEAL framework to track progress and demonstrate impact.

Collaborate with global and country-level MEAL teams to capture MbW’s reach and outcomes in CARE’s global systems.

Produce research reports, evaluations, and learning briefs to inform decisions and improve programming.

4. Reporting and Communications

Develop high-impact communication materials, including reports, multimedia content, and newsletters, to influence policy and industry practices.

Oversee knowledge management strategies to capture and disseminate best practices.

Manage external vendors for the production of branded materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in development studies, economics, business, or a related field.

Proven experience in program management and coordination within the development sector.

Demonstrated success in fundraising and building partnerships with donors and corporate stakeholders.

Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Experience in systems thinking within complex organizational structures.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Flexibility to travel within South and East Asia as needed.
