Weโre looking for people who can bring practical, flexible and politically informed expertise to complex challenges โ working alongside institutions and partners to strengthen capability, unlock reform opportunities and respond to emerging priorities.
We are also particularly interested in hearing from potential Team Leaders with experience leading and managing technical assistance facilities, a strong understanding of Somaliland and the political and institutional dynamics of the wider region, and a track record of successfully leading large, complex development programme portfolios. The role will require strong leadership, programme oversight and stakeholder management skills, alongside the ability to mobilise high-quality technical expertise and translate strategic priorities into effective delivery.
Across the wider roster, we are seeking expertise in governance and institutional strengthening; public financial management; security, stability and peacebuilding; inclusive economic development; climate resilience; migration; women, girls and social inclusion; and humanitarian resilience.
We also welcome specialists with cross-cutting expertise in policy, strategy, research, data and analytics, organisational transformation, innovation and complex problem solving.
Experience in Somaliland, Somalia or the wider Horn of Africa is particularly valuable. We strongly encourage applications from Somali-speaking experts, Somaliland-based professionals and the Somaliland diaspora, alongside regional and international specialists.
