EDUXO – European Network for Democracy & Equality – is seeking an organised, proactive, and community-driven Membership Manager (Individuals) to oversee and grow our individual membership base across Europe.
This volunteer role is essential to strengthening EDUXO’s community, governance, and long-term sustainability, ensuring that every individual member feels welcomed, valued, informed, and empowered.
The Membership Manager (Individuals) coordinates all processes related to individual members — from onboarding to engagement — ensuring they have a meaningful experience within EDUXO.
You will work closely with the Membership Lead, Community Manager, HR Team, and the President. Your work will help build a dynamic, informed, and active community aligned with our feminist, youth-led mission.

Key Responsibilities
As Membership Manager (Individuals), you will:
- Coordinate the registration and onboarding of new individual members.
- Engage with members and ensure they receive timely updates, opportunities, and
- information.
- Manage membership renewals, records, and communications.
- Maintain an organised membership database, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Draft and send communications tailored to members (emails, updates, briefs).
- Support the organisation of members-only events, workshops, and online sessions.
- Assist in monitoring member satisfaction and engagement levels.
- Collaborate with the Community Manager to welcome and integrate new members into
- EDUXO spaces.
- Produce short reports on membership trends and needs.
- Participate in monthly coordination meetings.
- Propose improvements to the member journey, benefits, and engagement strategies.
What You'll Work On
- Depending on availability and the membership cycle:
- Engagement campaigns for new members.
- Onboarding calls and welcome packages.
Members-only newsletters and updates.
Coordination with Events for member participation.
Support to governance moments where members hold voting rights.
Strengthening the sense of belonging within EDUXO’s community.
Identifying opportunities to increase membership value.
Requirements
- We are looking for someone who brings:
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A friendly, welcoming, and member-oriented mindset.
- Experience or interest in community management, membership systems, or volunteer coordination.
- Reliability, professionalism, and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets) and digital organisation tools.
- Alignment with feminist, intersectional, inclusive values.
- Motivation to support a youth-led European NGO.
- Knowledge of English (Italian/French are a plus).
- Experience in membership or community roles is an asset but not required.
