Job Summary
The Senior Programs & Performance Officer is responsible for providing strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight of organizational programs and projects. The role ensures effective implementation, performance monitoring, quality assurance, risk management, donor compliance, and achievement of program objectives. The position works closely with internal teams to strengthen program effectiveness, promote evidence-based decision-making, support resource mobilization efforts, and drive continuous organizational improvement.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Development Studies, Monitoring & Evaluation, Economics, Public Administration, Social Sciences, International Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A Master's Degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, PMD Pro, Agile, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in project or program management within a nonprofit, NGO, development, social enterprise, or donor-funded environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supervising staff and supporting team performance management.
  • Experience working with donor-funded projects, donor reporting, and grant compliance requirements.
  • Experience contributing to proposal development, project design, and resource mobilization efforts.
