1. Projects Strategy and Oversight
The Board Member will support the development, monitoring, and strategic alignment of Eduxo’s
projects. This may include:
- Contributing to the identification of new project opportunities, including European, national, and local funding calls;
- Providing strategic input on project design, objectives, target groups, partnerships, and expected impact;
- Supporting the Board in monitoring the implementation of ongoing projects;
- Ensuring that project activities are aligned with Eduxo’s values, organisational capacity, and long- term strategy;
- Helping identify risks, opportunities, and lessons learned from Eduxo’s project work;
2. Membership Development
The Board Member will contribute to the growth and engagement of Eduxo’s membership base.
This may include:
- Supporting the development of a clear membership strategy;
- Helping define the value of membership for individuals, volunteers, activists, and partner organisations;
- Contributing to member engagement activities, such as community meetings, members’ dinners, assemblies, workshops, and online spaces;
- Helping ensure that members are regularly informed, involved, and consulted;
- Contributing to the preparation of membership-related reports for the Board or General Assembly.
3. Governance and Board Participation
As a Board Member, the selected person will also contribute to the overall governance of the
organisation. This includes:
- Participating in Board meetings and strategic discussions;
- Supporting decision-making in the best interest of the organisation;
. Representing Eduxo externally;
- Supporting the President and other Board Members in organisational development processes.
 
The ideal candidate should have:

- A strong interest in democracy, equality, civic participation, youth empowerment, feminist leadership, or human rights; 
- Previous experience in civil society, youth organisations, NGOs, volunteering, advocacy, project management, or community engagement; 
- Understanding of project development, implementation, or coordination; 
- Interest in membership-based organisations and participatory governance; 
- Good communication and organisational skills; 
- Proficient command of English, both written and spoken;
 - Previous experience with EU-funded projects, Erasmus+, CERV, advocacy campaigns, membership management, or non-profit governance is an asset but not mandato
