Ensuring a stable flow of high-quality partnerships and closed agreements with key market players for the company.
Role Overview
The Partnership Manager is responsible for building and developing the company’s strategic partnership network, including government institutions, corporations, and key market players.
The specialist independently initiates and establishes communication with partners, schedules and conducts high-level meetings, and drives negotiations through to concrete agreements and signed contracts.
This role has a direct impact on the company’s growth speed, market expansion, and the formation of a sustainable partnership system that strengthens the business and creates new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  •  Identify and attract new partners (government and private organizations) 
  •  Initiate and conduct meetings with key decision-makers 
  •  Drive communication toward outcomes (agreements, collaborations, deals) 
  •  Prepare and send emails, commercial proposals, and offers 
  •  Pitch the project during meetings and presentations 
  •  Build and maintain a partner contact database and network 
  •  Handle objections and manage negotiations through to final agreement 
  •  Maintain regular communication with existing partners 
Expected Results
After 1 Month:
  •  40% of the partner wishlist processed 
  •  At least 10 meetings scheduled with relevant contacts 
  •  Minimum 8+ meetings conducted with decision-makers 
  •  20 commercial proposals / emails prepared and sent 
  •  A structured partner database (CRM / spreadsheet) with updated statuses created 
After 6 Months:
  •  100% of the partner wishlist completed 
  •  Meetings scheduled with key market players (government bodies / corporations / large B2B partners) 
  •  At least 5–10 active partnerships / agreements generating company revenue 
  •  A stable partnership pipeline established (consistent flow of new meetings) 
Additional KPIs
  •  Reduce “first contact → meeting → agreement” cycle by 30–40% 
  •  Increase closing speed through structured follow-ups and high-quality lead qualification 
  •  Improve “meeting → next step” conversion rate to 50%+ 
  •  Reduce lead drop-off during communication stage through active management and follow-up 
Requirements
General Requirements
  •  Gender: male or female 
  •  Location: strictly Nairobi 
Education
  •  Bachelor’s degree (preferred: Business, Marketing, International Relations, Economics) 
Work Experience
Minimum 3+ years in:
  •  Partnership Manager 
  •  Business Development Manager 
  •  Key Account Manager 
  •  Sales / Corporate Relations (B2B / enterprise level) 
Languages
  •  English — required (fluent business level) 
  •  Swahili — required 
  •  Russian — an advantage
