Challenge to Change (C2C), an NGO operating in Palestine since 2014 with focus on empowering women through mentorship, psychosocial support, and economic empowerment and personal development initiatives, is looking for 2 Field Projects Coordinators in Gaza to manage operations in a highly complex and volatile environment. 

We’re looking for 2 Female Field Projects Coordinators based in Gaza to join Challenge to Change.

This is a critical field-based role supporting women-focused programmes in a highly complex and fast-changing environment. The coordinators will help lead ground-level delivery across initiatives including mentorship, women’s circles, entrepreneurship support, psychosocial support coordination, monitoring, reporting, and local stakeholder liaison.

We’re looking for experienced, resilient candidates with strong knowledge of the Gaza Strip, the ability to adapt under pressure, and experience in areas such as economic empowerment, community development, PSS, MEAL, or humanitarian response. Arabic fluency and professional English are required.

Key Responsibilities

Program Implementation: 
  • Oversee and coordinate the ground-level execution of C2C initiatives such as mentorship, women circles and the entrepreneurship project. 
  • Psychosocial Support Coordination: Manage the delivery of trauma-informed support programs.

Field Monitoring & Reporting: Track project progress, collect success stories and prepare reports for donors and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Liaison: Represent C2C in local coordination groups and maintain relationships with community leaders and other NGOs in Gaza


Requirements
  • Local Expertise: Extensive experience working within the Gaza Strip, with a deep understanding of the unique security and logistical challenges.
  • Technical Background: Proven experience in economic empowerment, community development or psychosocial support (PSS) and familiarity with MEAL
  • Emergency Management: Ability to adapt project plans rapidly during humanitarian crises.
  • Communication: Fluency in Arabic and professional proficiency in English for international reporting
  • Education: Project Management, Business Administration, Gender Studies, or Social Sciences desired
