EDUXO – European Network for Democracy & Equality is looking for a creative, organised, and mission-driven Social Media Manager to strengthen our digital presence and help amplify youth-led, feminist, and pro-democracy narratives across Europe.
This role is ideal for someone who believes in the power of storytelling, digital advocacy, and inclusive communication to drive social change.

EDUXO is a youth-led, feminist organisation working across Europe to promote democracy, equality, gender justice, and youth political participation through advocacy, education, campaigns, and community-building.
Role Purpose
As Social Media Manager, you will:
- Shape and implement EDUXO’s social media strategy
- Translate our values, campaigns, and projects into engaging digital content
- Support community growth, engagement, and visibility across platforms
You will work closely with the Communications Lead and the rest of the Communications team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and schedule content across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, others as relevant) and on WordPress.
- Create engaging captions and adapt content for different audiences and platforms
- Coordinate with Graphic Designers and Content Creators
- Support the promotion of events, campaigns, memberships, and calls to action
- Monitor engagement, insights, and trends; suggest improvements
- Ensure inclusive, accessible, and values-aligned communication
- Contribute to editorial calendars and communication planning
Profile We’re Looking For You don’t need to tick every box, but you should have:
• Experience (voluntary, academic, or professional) managing social media accounts
• Strong writing skills in English (additional languages are a plus) • Interest in feminism, democracy, youth participation, and social justice
• Familiarity with social media tools (Meta Business Suite, scheduling tools, Canva, etc.)
• A proactive, organised, and collaborative attitude
• Sensitivity to DEI, inclusive language, and online safety
