Overview
About the Role
As an intern, you will support the coordination, implementation, and visibility of this EU-funded programme, working directly with an international consortium of feminist organisations across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, at our international office in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a high-impact, intersectional initiative working to shift global systems through grassroots leadership and policy influence.
Your Responsibilities
Assist with the coordination, monitoring, and reporting of the Women Power 2030 project and its work packages Support collaboration and knowledge exchange between consortium partners Help organize internal team meetings and build a feminist Community of Practice
Contribute to communications and visibility activities (e.g. writing social media content, articles, supporting visuals) Join and take notes in coordination meetings and webinars
Provide general support to the work of WECF International
- You are based in the Netherlands
- You are a university student, recent graduate or have equivalent analytical and research skills
- You are interested and knowledgeable about some of the following: climate change adaptation, climate justice, gender quality, and sustainable development
- You are a flexible, autonomous and proactive person –that is, you take initiatives to support the project and colleagues
- You share WECF’s values and vision
- Skilled in written and spoken English (other languages a plus)
- You already have some experience with organizing activities and events (virtual and/or in-person)
- You are looking for a learning experience in an international civil society organization
