About GPP and Fund Our Futures
Global Philanthropy Project (GPP) is a collaboration of funders and philanthropic advisors working to expand global philanthropic support to advance the human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex (LGBTI) people in the Global South and East. Established in 2009, GPP’s 23 member organizations include many of the leading global funders and philanthropic advisors for LGBTI rights. As the only international cohort of LGBTI funders, GPP is recognized as the primary thought leader and go-to partner for donor coordination around global LGBTI work. More information: globalphilanthropyproject.org
Fund Our Futures is the first-ever global pledging campaign for LGBTI movements. Amid rising anti-rights backlash and dramatic shifts in the philanthropic and development assistance landscape, the Fund Our Futures campaign is raising US $150 million in new funding commitments for global LGBTI movements by June 2025. GPP launched Fund Our Futures at the first-ever Global LGBTI Funding Summit in Cape Town in November 2024. To date, 30 foundations, corporations, donor governments, and high-net-wealth individuals have committed a total of US $103 million to Fund Our Futures.
