REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCES AND EXPERIENCE- University degree in Human Rights, Law, International Law, Political Science, Gender Studies, Migration Studies, Security Studies, International Relations, Social Sciences or a related field.
- Additional professional training in international human rights law, international humanitarian law, migration and refugee protection, gender equality, security-sector governance or institutional oversight is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in human rights, gender equality, migration governance or security-sector governance.
- Proven experience working with armed forces, law-enforcement agencies or other security-sector institutions on human rights, gender equality and institutional accountability.
- Experience translating human rights and gender standards into operational procedures, policies, training curricula, practical guidance or complaints and oversight mechanisms.
- Experience engaging with national human rights institutions, preventive mechanisms against torture, and oversight bodies
- Experience facilitating cooperation between security institutions, national human rights bodies and civil society organisations.
- Strong knowledge of non-refoulement and the rights and protection needs of migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, returnees and other vulnerable groups, including women, children and persons with disabilities.
- Experience supporting procedures for migrant identification, screening, referral, reception, detention or return, as well as human rights risk analysis and safeguarding.
- Experience developing or quality-assuring human rights and gender training for security personnel; experience with training-of-trainers approaches is an asset.
- Contributing to exchanges with European human rights, oversight and border-management institutions.
- Experience with European Union-funded or other internationally funded projects is an advantage

About the RoleAs part of our collaborative Office Admin team, you’ll provide high-level administrative support across the organisation, helping to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. We fund bold, ambitious, and expansive gender justice movements to create meaningful change that will last beyond our lifetimes.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSalesforce Management (~30%)- Enters and maintains accurate donor data in Salesforce, including new records, contact information changes, contact preferences, and facilitates en-masse record updates in collaboration with the Information & Knowledge Management Team.
- Maintains Salesforce data integrity by deduping records, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, and ensuring all information is properly represented and maintained with strict confidentiality.

- Manages matching gift confirmations and the import of third-party giving data reports to ensure donors are accurately credited
- Oversees the timely filing of State and Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) registrations and renewals.
- Maintains team-relevant Campaigns in Salesforce by managing contact lists, adding and removing contacts as necessary, and coordinating the distribution of monthly VIP emails from CEO.
Event Support (~25%)- Leads administrative support for all external events where Development is either the lead organizer or a key planning partner.
- Supports the management of Development event data within Salesforce including but not limited to, invitation list creation, pulling reports, and RSVP tracking.
Team Support (~15%)- Provides administrative support to the VP of Development, including calendaring, travel support, contracts, and ad-hoc tasks.
- Manages the calendaring of Development team meetings, and other team-related occurrences.
KEY SKILLS / WAYS OF DOING- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a fundraising capacity
